10 Essential Office Facilities Products You Must Have

If you want to make sure that you have the right office facilities products for your workplace, as well as the right furniture and office products, then here’s what you’ll need to consider.

1. Whether you’re offering dining room catering facilities to your staff, or there’s just a kettle in the corner of the room, you’ll want to make sure that there is plenty of cups, tea and coffee and other food and drink for your staff.

2. Even if you employ a professional cleaner, you’ll still want to make sure that you have appropriate cleaning products so that any spills can be cleaning up quickly and easily.

3. You’ll need to be aware of health and safety legislation, and display the relevant documentation that you are required to have by law. Perhaps you’ll want new signs, or frames for your insurance or health and safety certificates.

4. If you have a dedicated mailroom then you’ll want to make sure that you have the right sort of machines, desks and tables for your mailroom staff. What other products could make your mail room staff’s jobs easier, and make them more productive?

7. It’s essential that you take security of your staff and premises seriously. You might want to introduce staff ID cards, or have door keypads to ensure that only authorised members of staff can access certain parts of the building. You might also want to think about CCTV, and improving your locks.

8. You’ll want to make sure that if you have a warehouse that you have the right sort of warehouse storage, and communication. How would your staff benefit from being able to contact each other from the other side of the warehouse, or by having shelving that holds more products?

9. You might want to introduce dedicated workwear for your staff, so that they look smart when on a job, and to give your company free advertising. Why not see how wearing smart company branded polo shirts and durable trousers instead of jeans will improve staff morale and productivity.

10. You’ll want to make sure that the actual office environment is productive, and that your staff feel valued. What about having motivational posters, or making sure that there are plenty of plants, and other things to look at to inspire your staff?
